Yayasan Perpaduan Sarawak (YPS), known for its mission to foster unity, celebrate diversity and preserve cultural heritage in Sarawak, launched a campaign targeted toward individuals across Malaysia who have stories to tell about their favorite memory in Sarawak. In line with the upcoming Sarawak Day. MySarawak, a social media campaign on Instagram, aimed to foster the spirit of unity while sharing their stories related to the iconic landmarks in Sarawak.
The campaign, which will commence on Thursday, 21st July 2022 until 21st August 2022, is coherent with the Sarawak Day theme, “Sarawak Gemilang Untuk Semua” YPS believed that involving Sarawak youth would allow them to develop patriotism within themselves. With the support from two Sarawakian youth, Alisa Spencer and Darren Koh, the campaign hopes to encourage youth in Sarawak to take part in the campaign.
YPS encourages individuals around Malaysia to participate in this campaign by taking a video or a photo of their favourite landmark and sharing their favourite memory and how Sarawak achieves unity. The public can watch our introductory video of MySarawak and tag YPS on Instagram (@unitysarawak) to be featured in our social media.
