Every ethnic group in Sarawak has their way of telling their story whether it is in the form of epics, poems or toasts. It is a story told by our ancestors and passed down through one generation to the next. The storyteller might change over the years but the authenticity of the story told remains unchanged. The cultural and moral values are the messages conveyed by the storyteller. A tradition, part of the identity and pride of Sarawak, various ethnic groups unite us through stories.
